Team Meetings
Team Meetings help to increase communication between Teachers & School Counselors which allows us to better serve our students and parents. Each counselor meets with their teams weekly.
Grade Reporting
Progress reports are sent home during each marking period (at 5 weeks) for students doing unsatisfactory work. This is to make parents aware of a poor grade in time to help the student improve his/her grades. Report Cards are mailed home every 10 weeks.
Peer Tutor Study Hall
The peer tutor study hall utilizes eighth-grade students who are interested in tutoring a seventh-grade student during their ninth period study hall. Please contact your student’s School Counselor for more information on the peer tutor study hall.
Homework
Please access the Homework Hotline at 792-5891 (menu option #7) to check your student’s daily homework. For extended absences (2 or more days), please contact Mrs. Barber in the Guidance Office for your student’s homework. Please call before 11 a.m. for homework collection.
Parent Conferences
Please contact your student’s School Counselor to schedule a parent conference with your student’s team. Report Cards are mailed home every 10 weeks.
Transition Programs
At each grade level, the School Counseling Department coordinates transition activities to help students move from one grade level to the next. Please click on any of the links below to highlight the activities for that grade level.
