The advisory committees have been formed with six to nine members each for the following stakeholder groups: administrators, members of the faculty association, members of CSEA, parents/guardians, community members and students for a total of 39 individuals; 13 on each committee. When a stakeholder group had more individuals than available committee positions, members were selected through a lottery process. Should any selected members withdraw, subsequent lotteries were conducted to fill vacancies, as needed. The lottery was conducted by Turina Parker, Ed. D., WSWHE BOCES District Superintendent and Search Consultant. Video of the lottery is available on the district YouTube page.
The advisory committee will convene during the week of April 13 for orientation, to interview semifinalists, and to meet with the Board of Education.
