Information for Candidates
The South Glens Falls Central School District Board of Education is seeking an experienced school leader who will collaborate with the community to deliver a world-class education for all students.
The ideal candidate will guide the district in advancing its vision of creating diverse opportunities tailored to individual student needs. This leader will help fulfill our mission of nurturing a safe, welcoming learning environment that ignites passions, fosters a love of learning, and promotes lifelong success.
About the position
The Board of Education will offer a contract with a regionally competitive salary, and commensurate with the preparation, qualifications, experience, and record of the successful candidate, as well as an attractive benefits package.

School & Community Participation
The Board of Education will seek input from parents/guardians, students, staff and teachers, and community members throughout this process. Specifically, board members will be looking for a candidate who aligns with stakeholders’ views on key strengths and attributes of the district and potential areas for growth and improvement.
