The South Glens Falls Central School District is pleased to announce that Caitlin Vigliotti will be named the new principal of Moreau Elementary. 

The SGF Board of Education is scheduled to vote to approve the appointment during the July 20 meeting. Vigliotti will be taking over for Rebecca Hughes, who resigned on June 30.

Vigliotti is currently the Assistant Principal at Queensbury Elementary School, a position she has held since March 2025. 

Prior to that, she worked at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District as a school psychologist and summer school principal. She previously worked as a school psychologist & CSE Subcommittee/504 Chairperson at Brockport Central School District and Thousand Islands Central School District.

“I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as the next Principal of Moreau Elementary School,” Vigliotti said. “I look forward to building strong relationships and supporting the school community where every student can grow and thrive.”

This 11-month administrative position will start on Aug. 17, 2026.
