South Glens Falls High School senior Hayden Knapp captured the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Girls (NYSPHSAA) Golf State Championship, finishing first at the tournament held at Wild Wood Country Club in Rush, NY.
Knapp earned the top spot in a competitive field, securing the state title with a standout performance over the course of the championship event.
School officials and members of the community praised Knapp’s accomplishment, highlighting her dedication and consistency throughout the season.
“Hayden’s performance at NYSPHSAA Golf Championships reflects not only her talent, but also her commitment to the sport,” SGF's Director Of Physical Education, Health and Athletics Jennifer Murphy said. “This is an outstanding achievement for both her and our golf program.”
