South High Marathon Dance, Inc has a vacancy on the board of directors. We are currently seeking someone to fill the role of Director of Recipient Services.

Duties of the Director of Recipient Services
A key part of SHMD’s mission is identifying and serving members and organizations within the community who are experiencing hardship.
The Director of Recipient Services is responsible for:
Duties
Advocating for the needs of these members and organizations, including ensuring all aspects of the process are met.
Oversight of the application process and receipt of nominations ensuring all information is received.
Collection and processing of necessary forms (background check, tax forms, etc.).
Facilitating recipient selection in conjunction with the Director of Student Services.
Recipient processing once selected including: contract signing and video scheduling, drafting and vetting recipient narratives and summaries to be used for awareness materials and public information.
Oversight of the recipient room at the event.
Continuously communicating with and supporting our recipients throughout the year.
Working in conjunction with the Corporation’s Treasurer and Bookkeeper to ensure the distribution of funds including coordination and assurance of use within the allotted parameters and timeframe.
As a member of the Board of Directors, attend all meetings of the Corporation, to include meetings of the Board of Directors and Advisory Board.
Maintain confidentiality of information as required.
Qualifications
Ability to organize, prepare, and keep confidential sensitive information about individuals, prioritize tasks, and maintain timelines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented.
Approximate time commitment for this volunteer position is estimated at 150 to 200 hours annually.
