Congratulations to South Glens Falls High School student Opal Rohne for being selected as one of the nominees for the 2023 SCSBA member school districts for outstanding community service award.
Rohne was one of 12 students selected and received a $150 scholarship.
"On behalf of Cheryl Smith, President of the Saratoga County School Boards, and Turina Parker, Treasurer of the Saratoga County School Boards, we would like to thank the member districts for nominating the exceptional students who received this year's SCSBA Community Service Award," the awards notice stated. "This year, 4 area businesses generously donated to the Association which allows the SCSBA to continue with this long standing, important event of recognizing one student from each member school district."
