We want your news!

There are great things happening throughout the South Glens Falls Central School District School District, and we want the community to know about them.

To streamline the process of getting news onto the district website and out to the media, please request coverage from the district Communications Office via email or phone.

The following should be included in the request:

  • Contact person’s name, phone number and email

  • Name of event

  • Date and time of event

  • Event location

  • A short description of the purpose of the event, what will be taking place and how this event or activity enhances or complements classroom or character education lessons

Submitted Photos

If you are submitting a photo from an event that already occurred, please email it as a jpeg to mcavoyminork@sgfcsd.org.

Some parents ask that their children not be photographed, and the main office maintains a list of those students. Ask Kerry McAvoy-Minor for a copy of the Do Not Request list.
