Starting on Nov. 1, 2023, the South Glens Falls Central School District will be providing free breakfast and lunch to all students.

This implementation is a result of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) expanding access to the federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). CEP allows eligible schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs to offer school meals at no charge to all students.

Effective Nov 1, 2023 all students enrolled at South Glens Falls CSD will receive meals at no cost to your household.

Families do not need to fill out any paperwork to ensure that students receive free breakfast or lunch in our district for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year. However, it is important to note that any current outstanding balances will still be due.

A la carte items, such as snacks, ice cream, drinks, and doubles, must still be paid for, and students will be charged for milk if it is not taken with a complete meal.
