OWWMS Supply Lists

Grade 6

  • 1 calculator {must include { , +, -, x, & +)
  • Pencils
  • 1 two-pocket plastic folder
  • 1 marble composition notebook
  • 7 one-subject spiral notebooks for math (send in 1 only – leave 6 at home-we will use one per unit)
  • Earbuds or headphones

Optional:
– Colored pencils
– Zipper pouch for extra pencils

Note: Supplies may need to be replenished periodically. Bring all items for the first day of school!

Grade 7

This includes most of the materials you will need once school begins on Sept. 6.

Teachers will explain exactly what you need for their individual classes when school starts.

  • Writing utensils: blue or black pens and pencils
  • Textbook and/or workbook will be supplied by the school
  • TWO sturdy, different colored three-ring binders, each with 1.5″ or 2″ rings
  • A good supply of 3-hole white lined loose leaf paper
  • A good supply of 3 x 5 cards
  • At least five subject dividers to separate your subjects within your ring binders
  • Scientific calculator
  • Zipper bag with three holes for carrying pens and pencils (optional, but a great idea!)
  • Some individual metal rings to keep cards organized {optional)
  • Reinforcements and sheet protectors
  • Colored pencils
  • Headphones/earbuds to leave in school
  • Highlighters
  • Pack of dry erase markers
  • Pocket folder (ELA)
  • Cap erasers
  • 1 pack of Post-It notes

Please note: Students are no longer allowed to carry book bags with them to classes. Health and safety concerns, as well as potential organizational problems, prompted us to ask your cooperation with this request. Book bags and coats or jackets are to remain in lockers.

Grade 8

This includes most of the materials you will need once school begins on Sept. 6.

Please remember that you are to come to every class completely prepared each day. You should have the supplies listed below in order to meet the classroom preparation requirements.

  • Writing utensils: blue or black pens and pencils
  • Textbook (supplied by school}
  • Two sturdy, different colored three ring binders. If your binders from seventh grade are in good condition, use them. Please do not use the “Trapper” binder.
  • Highlighters (good supply}
  • (Math Honors only-1.5 three ring binder) Math 8-Your teacher will let you know what supplies you need on the first day of school.
  • 1 one-inch Binder with loose leaf paper
  • A couple of spiral-bound notebooks
  • Headphones/earbuds for school use
  • At least 5 subject dividers to separate your subjects within your ring binders
  • ]Several packages of notebook filler paper. You may need to purchase more as the year goes on.
  • Studio Art student only: spiral bound sketchbook (approx. 9” x 12”, 100 pages)
