South Glens Falls High School Drama Club to present SEUSSICAL

The South Glens Falls High School Drama Club is excited to present its annual musical production, Seussical!

The show will be held on Friday, March 22, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 23, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., in the High School Auditorium.

Event Details

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or online at sgfdrama.ticketleap.com. The box office will open one hour prior to curtain. Seating for the 7 p.m. shows is assigned. The Saturday matinee performance will be general admission. Concessions will be available to
purchase during a 15-minute intermission.

South Glens Falls High School is located at 42 Merritt Road in South Glens Falls. The South Glens Falls High School Drama Club is participating for a third year in the High School Musical Theatre Awards which is sponsored by Proctors and the Times Union. South Glens Falls student, Brandon Sarti , won 2018 BEST ACTOR AWARD at this competition and went on to compete in the National Jimmy Awards for his portrayal of Sam Wheat in GHOST THE MUSICAL.

SEUSSICAL is written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. This production is presented through special arrangements with MTI: Musical Theatre International.

Synopsis

Based on the childrens’ stories by Dr. Seuss, SEUSSICAL follows the beloved characters from Horton Hears a Who while incorporating characters from other well-loved books. Featuring Ethan Eggleston (Cat in the Hat, Class of 2022), Xander Holden (Horton, 2021), Allison
Hillebrandt (Mayzie La Bird, 2019), Signe Naranjo (Gertrude McFuzz, 2019), and Maya Taylor (JoJo, 2022). Directed by Mrs. Betsy Stambach-Fuller, with Music Direction by Mr. John Benware and Choreography by Mrs. Mallory Leonard.
