Name: Debbie Wright
Position in the district and building where you work: Lunchroom Monitor, Ballard Elementary School
How long have you worked in the district? 15 years
What do you enjoy about your job?
I enjoy crocheting, baking cakes, cupcakes and many other crafts, if there’s something you want I will figure a way to get it done. Working at Ballard gave me the courage to go to college. I received my teacher’s aide credentials and almost my associate’s degree. I have a couple of classes to finish.
Tell us why you believe in SGF and the work we do for the community: I feel like Ballard is my home away from home. I am willing to step up whenever and wherever I am needed.
Tell us about your life outside of school.
My greatest accomplishment is my four children, plus my six grandchildren. Life would be pretty boring without them. I believe that I am here in this world to help others and I am a very strong person that can handle whatever has been sent my way.
