Parent University: Supporting our Children’s Mental Health

On Wednesday, Oct. 18, the South Glens Falls CSD, in partnership with the Community Coalition for Family Wellness, will host a Parent University program called Supporting our Children’s Mental Health.

This program is one of several Parent University programs that will be held throughout the year. The Oct. 18 event will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Harrison Avenue Elementary School.

This program will be an opportunity for parents and community members to gain a better understanding of the programs and services that are available in our schools and also in our local community to help support student mental health.

Panel participants are: April Sexton, ECS Psychological Services; Taylor, Saratoga Center for the Family; Lisa Catalfamo, Elementary Social Worker; Christine Macchi, Oliver W. Winch Middle School Counselor; Tim Dawkins, Oliver W. Winch Middle School Principal and Carla Biviano, Harrison Ave. Elementary School Principal.
