Parades, Apple Run and literary pumpkins make a fun Halloween week at Ballard

October 29, 2021

Ballard Elementary students were busy bulldogs this week, learning, crafting, running, and parading.

We unveiled our “literary pumpkins” designed by our very own students. Chicken Little, the three bears, The Cat in the hat, and many more made appearances in gourd form.

On Thursday, we held our annual Apple Run, allowing our children to get outside and enjoy the crisp autumn weather. Over in Mrs. Spratt’s class, students read “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” then created their own! Be sure to see more of our student’s art on the Ballard Elementary Facebook page.

We topped off our week of fun with our annual Halloween Program featuring a parade through the building for our costumed kids.

We hope that your students enjoyed this fun and productive week as much as we did.
