Good morning! Today is Wednesday, February 26, 2020 and today is a B day.

*** Basket Raffle Update – So far over 100 students have sold 150 tickets or more and earned the privilege to dance the scheduled 1 hour at marathon. Your full name should be on the back of tickets OR tickets can be placed in an envelope marked with your full name on it. To date we are at $25,390 in ticket sales. In order to come close to last year’s total we have a ways to go and only a few weeks left. BULLDOGS TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT!!! Please note the last day for turning in tickets is March 2nd!!!

***ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS SELLING BASKET RAFFLE TICKETS – IT’S SUPER IMPORTANT THAT YOU BRING YOUR SOLD TICKETS AND MONEY TO THE MAIN OFFICE DAILY FIRST THING IN THE MONEY!!!!!

***To celebrate our South High Marathon Dance we will have a Spirit Week March 2rd – March 6th. Please dress according to the following list:
Monday March 2nd : Neon Day
Tuesday March 3rd: Tie-Dye Day
Wednesday March 4th : Cause Day
Thursday March 5th : Cast Away
Friday March 6th : Red & Blue Day

***ATTENTION BOOK CLUB: COME TO ROOM 212 AND GET MOVIE PERMISSION SLIP FOR CALL OF THE WILD. GO GET THE SLIP ASAP. WE NEED a HEADCOUNT AND MONEY. GO SEE MS. LEROUX TODAY!

***Attention All 7th and 8th Grade girls interested in Lacrosse. There will be Open Gym time at the middle school Monday, March 2nd from 2:45pm to 3:45pm. Please bring all safety gear and arrange to be picked up at 3:45pm. Questions can be directed to Mr. Buckley in room 241.

***Attention No Place or Hate Members: We will be meeting today, Wednesday, February 26th after school in Mrs. Nedwell’s room, 209. We will be reflecting on the Emotion into Art presentation and working on our next activity. See you there!
***Attention Helping Hands Club members-
We will meet this Thursday Feb. 27 to plan our March project.

***The fitness center will be open during the activity period afterschool on Mondays and Wednesday. Students wishing to work out can come downstairs 2:05-2:45 every Monday and Wednesday throughout the winter.

***If you are interested in signing up for the South Glens Falls Pop Warner Cheer Program registration forms are located in the main office!

***On Thursday February 27th, we have our next GSA Meeting in Room 213 after school. All are welcome!

***There will be a Memory Book Club Meeting on Thursday, March 5 at 2:05. See you there!

***The Carnival themed Teen Town is this Friday February 28th. Tickets are sold for $10 at the door only. We will have a vertical rush interactive inflatable, slime station, pictures and face paint. We will have snow cones, cotton candy, nachos and hot dogs available to purchase! Each $10 entrance fee comes with one snack bar coupon for an item of your choice.

***A reminder to students participating in this Friday’s Teen Town: Only South Glens Falls Middle School students can attend; this means no elementary students, no high school students or students from other school districts can attend. Students on the restriction list may not attend. The Dress Code as written in the student handbook applies to Teen Towns. Students will be let in the building at 7:00 p.m. at the front gymnasium entrance. After 7:30 p.m. no one will be admitted without a parent or guardian. No one will be allowed to leave prior to 8:30 p.m. without a parent or guardian.
