Jan. 14 update

January 18, 2022

COVID-19 Numbers
The following were the positive cases in the district this week:

  • MS – 50 students
  • HS – 39 students
  • Tanglewood – 15 students
  • Ballard – 12 students
  • Moreau – 12 students
  • Harrison – 6 students
  • Staff – 27 across the district

These numbers reflect the number of cases reported to us. Not all of these cases result in contact tracing at the school level. Additionally, less than 1% of Test to Stay students have become positive. These numbers suggest the spread is happening outside of school. At this time, we are asking families to please limit the number of contacts their students have outside of school hours. I encourage you to limit playdates and sleepovers until this wave has subsided.

Vaccination Clinics
We are running a second vaccination clinic for students 5-to 17-years-old. Please sign up using this link.
Once you get a time, you can come within a half-hour of that time but not before 3 p.m. Please note, participants must bring their ID along with an insurance card or copy of it. They also must complete this form for NYS and bring it with them or take a photo of it.

Kits are still available in every school and in the district office during the following times:

  • Ballard Office: 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
