Harrison Ave. Supply Lists


  • 2 boxes of 24-count Crayola crayons
  • 1 package of large-sized pencils
  • 4 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of scissor (Frey’s class only)
  • 1 pair of headphones (in a labeled bag or name on the packaging) **NO EARBUDS. If you can only purchase one item to send in, please have it be this one.
  • Folders (Laminated) 2 for Frey’s class/5 for Northrup’s class
  • 1 package of playdoh
  • 4 black dry erase markers
  • 1 yellow highlighter
  • 1 large backpack
  • 1 snack bag and 1 lunch box (snack needs to be sent in separate from lunch)
  • 1 box 10-count classic colors Crayola markers (Northrup’s class only)

Depending on regulations, we may or may not be sharing items. DO not put names on anything other than the headphones.

In the event that we need to pivot to online learning, if possible, you may want some items already at home. I would suggest: a small whiteboard with dry erase marker, crayons, pencils, a composition notebook and plain white paper. You may also want alphabet cards, number cards, sight word cards and addition and subtraction flashcards. None of this is required.

    First Grade

    • 24 Ticondaroga #2 sharpened pencils
    • 3 boxes of Crayola 24-count crayons
    • 1 package of Crayola markers
    • 2 yellow highlighters
    • 1 pair of headphones (not earbuds) Please put them in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name.
    • 4 black dry erase markers
    • 10 Elmer’s glue sticks
    • 1 pair of Fiskar scissors
    • 1 large backpack (large enough for a folder)
    • 1 small flashlight (Can be found at the Dollar Store)


    • 1 box of gallon-sized Ziploc bags
    • 1 box of sandwich-sized Ziploc bags
    • Emergency snack (goldfish, pretzels, crackers)

    Second Grade

    Please note: Each teacher may have their own supply list that may vary slightly. Your child’s teacher will be sending home an additional supply list in the summer specifying what they will need for their specific classroom.)

    • One 1-inch durable view binder
    • 2 glue sticks
    • 1 sturdy plastic folder with bottom pockets and 3 holes
    • 2 boxes of Crayola crayons (24 count)
    • 2 boxes of sharpened pencils (plain yellow)
    • 4pack dry erase markers and an old sock to use as an eraser (Expo markers last longer)
    • Scissors
    • 2 different colored highlighters
    • Hard plastic pencil case to hold supplies (must fit in desk)
    • Headphones or earbuds
    • 1 composition notebook

    Third Grade

    • Ticonderoga #2 pencils
    • 2 dry erase markers
    • Pencil box
    • Colored pencils
    • Glue stick
    • A pair of earbuds/headphones to keep in school
    • Handheld pencil sharpener

    Each child will be given a homework folder and a planner.

    Fourth Grade

    • A book bag/backpack
    • One 1 1/2-inch binder
    • 1 composition notebook
    • Headphones for the Chromebooks (you will leave at school)
    • 48 Ticonderoga pencils (Please make sure they are Ticonderoga)
    • 1 package post-it notes 3-inch x 3-inch (6 in a pack)
    • 1 package of index cards 3-inch x 5-inch
    • 5 highlighters
    • 2 dry erase markers
    • A pencil box
    • 1 box of crayons (24 count)
    • 1 box of colored pencils (12 count)
    • 3 glue sticks

    Fifth Grade


    • 1 durable 2-inch binder (please no Trapper Keepers and no larger sizes)
    • A sturdy, 3-hole punched zipper pencil bag to hold your supplies in your binder
    • 1 package of loose-leaf paper (wide ruled)
    • 5 pocket folders (1 red, 1 blue and 3 colors of your choice)
    • 4 composition notebooks
    • A set of earbuds or headphones (we use these daily)
    • 8 glue sticks
    • Pencils (2 packages: Ticonderoga)
    • Pencil top erasers
    • Blue pens (2)
    • Scissors
    • Colored pencils
    • Post-it notes (preferably 3×3 lined-at least 5 packages to get through the year. Please no accordion style.)
    • Pencil sharpener with shavings catcher
    • 8 ultra-fine, low-odor (Expo) dry erase marker (black)
    • 2 Sharpie markers
    • Yoga mat or towel
    • Old (clean) sock (to use as an eraser for dry erase board)
    • Water bottle

      Please be sure one of each of those items fits in your zippered bag. Extra supplies will be kept in your individual bin at school. Please buy enough of these items to keep your zippered pouch replenished throughout the year. Because we are preparing for middle school, it is important to have your materials ready and with you at all times.

      It would be helpful if you had these resources at home.
