Harrison Ave. Elementary School to host SHMD Mini-Marathon

January 26, 2018

Harrison Avenue Elementary School is excited to host its SHMD Mini-Marathon on Saturday, February 3, 2018!

Students will enjoy a night of dancing, face painting and taking pictures with their friends! Families can purchase raffle tickets, refreshments, pizza and various baked goods. All proceeds will be donated to SHMD.

For those students who did not submit their free t-shirt slip by the due date (Friday, January 12th), they will not receive a t-shirt; however, they still can dance! All Harrison Avenue Elementary students are welcome to participate! Parents/guardians need to remain with their children throughout the dance. However, families can leave at their convenience; they don’t need to stay for the full two hours.

Students need to raise at least $10 in order to dance. This money will be collected during registration/sign-in the night of the dance.

Registration/Sign-In: 5 p.m.- 5:45 p.m. Please use the drop-off/pick-up entrance (by the larger parking lot) for registration/sign-in. You will not be able to enter the building through the Main Entrance.
Dance: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Since parking is limited at Harrison Avenue Elementary School, a shuttle service will be available to accommodate those in attendance. The shuttle bus will cycle continuously between Oliver Winch Middle School and Harrison Avenue Elementary School from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
