Exit survey results available

May 29, 2015

For the third consecutive year, the South Glens Falls Central School District conducted an exit survey during the school budget vote, which was held on May 19, 2015.

The purpose was to collect information about why those who voted chose to vote as they did and judge the community’s feelings about capital improvements in the schools. The survey was voluntary and anonymous. Surveys were made available to voters at the polling site for anyone who chose to fill one out after voting. Participants could choose to use a paper version or an electronic version on a Chromebook.

Of the 1,085 residents who voted, 324 chose to complete an exit survey, an approximately 30 percent return rate. While these results do not represent the opinions of all voters, they do provide many residents’ perceptions about the district and its proposed budget.
