Bulldog Book Bus kicks off!

July 7, 2021

Bulldog Book Bus LogoThe South Glens Falls CSD is excited to offer a unique opportunity for K-8 students and families this summer—a traveling library!

The Bulldog Book Bus will begin circulating in the community on July 13, making three stops on Tuesdays in the northern part of the district and three stops on Thursdays in the southern portion of our district. The bus will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 19.

“The Bulldog Book Bus will offer students and families the fun and excitement of a traveling library for the summer,” said Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction Tim Dawkins. “We are excited to promote literacy and community through this unique opportunity.”

When the bus pulls into its designated area, students will be able to enter the library bus and choose books to check out for the week. There will be two teachers/librarians on the bus each day and one volunteer to help families with book selections.

There is no need to register for this activity. Just show up, and get ready to read!
