The South Glens Falls Central School District Board of Education ratified a five-year contract with the South Glens Falls CSEA at its regular board meeting on Monday, Jan. 14.

The 242 members of the CSEA, which represents all clerical, nurses, transportation, operations & maintenance and food service staff, voted on Jan. 15 to ratify the agreement, which covers the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023.

The contract calls for a salary increase of $600 (12-month employees) or $500 (10-month employees) during the current school year, a 2.5 percent increase during the 2019-20 school year, and a 2 percent increase each year for the final three years of the contract.
