SGF recognized for communications work

NYSPRA award presentationThe South Glens Falls Central School District received three awards from the New York School Public Relations Association for communications work done over the course of the 2016-17 school year.

The district was recognized with two Awards of Excellence for the South Glens Falls CSD 2016-17 Calendar and the Everybody Reads Campaign. South Glens Falls also received one Award of Honor for the Everybody Reads Poster. Communications Specialist Monica Lester and Karen Pacelli, Graphic Artist from the Capital Region BOCES Communications Service, worked on Everybody Reads campaign graphics and materials.

“Communications is crucial to our school district’s success and we are proud to have been recognized in New York State for our work,” said Superintendent of Schools Michael Patton, Ed.D.

This year’s NYSPRA contest received 439 entries; 194 entries were given awards in the categories of excellence, honor and merit.
