The upcoming Parent University event will be a community conversation called, “Building Positive Relationships and Bullying Prevention in our Schools and Community” will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Tanglewood Elementary School Cafeteria.
Beth Martinez of the Anti-Defamation League will guide the conversation. She will address the topics:
- What is bullying?
- What should I do if I suspect my child is being bullied? How can I help them?
- What should the school do? What is DASA (Dignity for All Students Act)?
