Oliver W. Winch Middle School student Cameron Cardinale recognized as Gold Star Student by ADL

Seventh-grade student Cameron Cardinale was recognized last week as part of the Anti-Defamation League No Place for Hate ceremony as the middle school recipient of the Gold Star Student Award. The award recognizes a student who has exhibited extraordinary leadership in the effort to make his or her school No Place for Hate.

Summer 2018 construction information… where can I find…?

June 11, 2018

As part of the December 2015 Capital Project that was approved by voters in the district, four school buildings will be closed during the Summer of 2018. Harrison Avenue, Tanglewood and Ballard elementary schools, along with the high school, will be closed to the public this summer. Buildings will close Friday, June 22, and are anticipated to reopen on Aug. 27, 2018.

Oliver W. Winch Middle School re-designated as 2018 Essential Elements School-to-Watch

June 4, 2018

Oliver W. Winch Middle School has been named a 2018 Essential Elements School-to-Watch for its fifth consecutive three-year term and will be recognized for its achievement at the state and national levels. By the end of the school year, 33 of the nearly 1,500 middle schools in New York will have been designated as Essential Elements Schools-to-Watch.
